At Flexsirent, we understand how exciting—and sometimes a little uncertain it can be to move into a new home, especially when you’re sharing it with others. Whether you’ve booked a private room or a shared bedroom, it’s likely that you’ll be living with other flatmates in the same flat or house.
Sharing a space is a common living arrangement that often leads to lasting friendships, cultural exchanges, and memorable moments. But you might be wondering: who will my flatmates be?
Will I Know Who I’ll Be Living With?
At Flexsirent, we connect you with trusted landlords across various cities, many of whom list their properties on multiple platforms. Because of this, we’re currently unable to provide exact details about your future flatmates before your move-in date.
You might encounter different flatmates during your stay, especially in high-turnover areas or large student accommodations. This creates a unique opportunity to meet new people and build connections while living abroad or in a new city.
Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive the landlord’s contact information. At that point, feel free to reach out and ask them more about the current living situation, including who else is staying in the property.
Living with a Resident Landlord
In some cases, you may be sharing the apartment with the landlord themselves. These listings are clearly marked on Flexsirent as “Resident Landlord”, so you’ll always know ahead of time.
Look for this label in the property listing to ensure you’re comfortable with the setup.
