At Flexsirent, we know that arriving at a new home in a new city can be both exciting and stressful. That’s why we’ve introduced the 24-Hour Move-In Protection Policy — to make sure everything goes smoothly and to offer you support if something isn’t right.

What Is the 24-Hour Move-In Protection?

Our 24-hour policy is designed to protect tenants from misleading listings or major issues upon arrival. If the accommodation you move into is significantly different from what was shown in the listing — such as missing rooms, incorrect address, or unlivable conditions — you can report the issue within the first 24 hours of your official check-in date.

During this time, your first month’s rent is held securely by Flexsirent and won’t be released to the landlord until the issue is resolved.

How to Report a Move-In Issue

If you encounter a problem during your move-in, follow these simple steps to activate the 24-hour protection:

  1. Log in to your Flexsirent dashboard.
  2. Go to “My Bookings” and select the property in question.
  3. Click on “Report an Issue”.
  4. Choose the category that best fits your issue.
  5. Provide a detailed explanation along with photos or videos to support your claim.
  6. Submit the report.

The more specific and visual your report is, the faster our team can assess and support your case.

Important Notes

  • You must report the issue within 24 hours of your scheduled move-in time. After this window, the first month’s rent will be automatically transferred to the landlord.
  • Always try speaking with the landlord first — sometimes simple issues can be resolved directly.
  • Be sure to document everything — photos and videos are essential for us to support your case properly.
